This week's column continues to give voice to black people in the world's undisputed fashion capital. A fashion world that does not often acknowledge the beauty, innovation and creativity of black people.

As the temperatures get warmer a monochrome black stripe design is taking over the street. Still, I spotted this lovely lady near Pennsylvania Station with a very bold version of this popular look.
