Artistic effort raises profile of Black Lives Matter

NEW YORK, Aug. 26, 2016, 7 p.m. - A Brooklyn-based graphic artist is seeking to shine attention on Black Lives Matter.

Social Graphic Artist Leslie Xia has launched "" in an effort to bring attention to those who have died after being stopped by police.

Xia said that dozens of Black Lives Matter-focused artist have drawn images commemorating Tamir Rice, Alton Sterling and many others.

The effort, which was part of Kickstarter, will now decimate "thousands" of stickers across the "world," Xia said.
