Rapper releases tribute to Trayvon Martin

ATLANTA, March 24, 2012, 7:40 p.m. - The rapper Plies has released a tribute song for a Florida teen murdered last month.

The song "We Are Trayvon (Trayvon Martin Tribute)" was aired on first on V-103 WVEE-FM in Atlanta.

The songs hook exclaims that "you'll forever live on."

"I never thought wearing no hoodie could cost your life," Plies raps, "and I never thought you could just kill somebody and get out the same night."

The song is scheduled to be released on iTunes next week.
