- Syndicated talk radio
host Joe Madison today repeated as the top black talker in the
country two years in a row, according to an annual survey of radio
listeners.Madison was top voted among
BlackTalkers.com "Talented 10" in talk radio.
His "Black Eagle" morning program airs on Sirius
XM Satellite Radio's 128 The Power and Washington, D.C.'s WOL-AM.
The top five talk show host on the list had
programs heard on Sirius XM Satellite Radio's The Power.
Atlanta's WAOK-AM's Derrick Boazman also finished
as the top local talk show host in the country for a second year.
CBS Radio-owned WAOK was the only radio station to have multiple
host on the list.
Philadelphia's WURD-AM's Program Director
Stephanie Renée was the top woman on
the list.
The BlackTalkers.com's "Talented 10" list is a
week long survey of talk radio listeners with nearly 400 votes cast.
Listeners selected their favorite talk star from a list of more than
40 names and could even write-in candidates. Listeners, however,
could not vote twice and could not view the results until now.
