ATLANTA, March 25, 2012, 8 p.m. - Sirius XM host Joe Madison Monday will announce April 10 as "National Hoodie Day" in support of a slain Florida teen.

"I'm going to announce that April 10 be National Hoodie Day," Madison told ReddingNewsReview.com. "Across the USA, all of us wear hoodies as a show of support for Trayvon Martin. This is the day the grand jury convenes in Sanford."

Madison said that the day will also be in response to Geraldo Rivera's statement.

"Our collective fashion statement will send a strong message that the entire nation is watching that justice prevails.

Rivera said that hoodies reminded people of criminals.

"I'll bet you money, if he didn't have that hoodie on, that nutty neighborhood watch guy wouldn't have responded in that violent and aggressive way," he said.
