The black unemployment rate today has gone right back up, according to a recent
report by the U.S. Department of Labor.
The October rate soared to 14.3 percent, according to the department.
The rate had fallen to its lowest level since April and May in the previous
month, according to the department. The rate fell the month before to 13.4
percent from 14.1 percent from August to September.
