Redding News Review adds Myrtle Beach, Charleston
, May 22, 2009, 1 p.m. -Talk radio show host Robert "Rob" Redding Jr. has extended his nationally-syndicated program, named after his award-winning Web site Redding News Review, into South Carolina.
Redding's three-hour radio show begins airing every Sunday on WLMC-AM in Charleston and Myrtle Beach via Georgetown from 7 to 10 p.m.
Rod Stalvey, owner of WLMC, said that the radio show meets his goal of inspiring his listeners.
"This would be a great addition to the line up," Stalvey said.
"This is the only program able to handle up-to-the-minute news on politics and issues of race from a truly independent perspective," Redding said. "These issues are even more important given the harsh economic climate and a new president, unlike any we have ever seen. In short, this program's time has come."
Redding's show is already heard in all 50 states on XM 169 and terrestrial radio via the Genesis Communications Network. GCN airs the show on KTAE-AM in Waco, TX and Austin; KKGN-AM in Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose; WMEL-AM in Melbourne, Fla.; WVNA-AM in Tuscumbia, Ala.; and throughout Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi on KMLB-AM.
