U.S.
Green Party presidential pick
Cynthia McKinney can't count
on her former congressional spokesman's support.
McKinney's former communications director Coz Carson, who just took a
job as a radio talk show host on the newly launched
U.S. Talk Network, yesterday
said he would not have his former boss on his show to talk about her run
against Sen. Barack Obama,
her Democratic rival.
"I will not have her on," Carson said during a lengthy diatribe.
"I love her and respect her," he said. But "this is America's shot at
having a black president."
McKinney, who is black, once called Carson a "fool"
during a hot microphone episode following an interview with a Georgia
television station more than two years ago - similar to Jesse Jackson's
more recent Obama "nut" slip.

McKinney, a former
Democrat,
and Carson parted ways after her slip.
McKinney, who had already been ousted from her seat in Congress after being
targeted by
conservatives, was booted a second time because Carson also said -
during the his show - that she failed to take his advice and claimed that she
was inappropriately touched by a male officer during a much publicized scuffle.
She apologized for the incident and was never indicted. Click here if you think others should read
