Black dancer documentary selected by two film festivals

The film "Don't Hate Strippers: Fight the Government" has just been selected for the "In-Competition Documentary Feature" segment of the Hollywood Black Film Festival and the San Francisco Black Film Festival. Both are being held in California in June.
"The film is the true story about black male exotic dancers ... who stood up and fought the Prince George's County government in federal court for their Constitutional right to perform exotic dance for women," said Attorney Jimmy A. Bell, who represented the plaintiffs.

"This film will take you to a world that you have never been before or let you see a whole world that you think you know in a completely different way," Bell said.
United States District Judge Marvin J. Garb issued a permanent injunction against the law in April of last year, he said.
