June 22, 2007, 11:30 a.m. - Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Leonard Pitts today told Redding News Review he is preparing a column about a white supremacist Web site responsible for harassing him and his family.
"I have got to say something about this," Pitts told Redding News Review.
Redding News Review exclusively reported earlier this week that the nationally syndicated Miami Herald columnist has received hostile emails and phone calls at his home in Maryland, as a result of Bill White's white supremacist-focused Web site Overthrow.com publishing his private information.

Pitts' neighborhood has been leafleted, he has received dozens of hostile phone calls at his home and about 400 e-mails, according to news reports.
"Frankly, if some loony took the info and killed him, I wouldn't shed a tear," White has said.
White and his followers are upset at Pitts' recent column, which states that the death of two whites is being played up by conservative columnist and bloggers.
The FBI is investigating White and his followers, according to news reports.
Pitts said his column is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday of next week.
