Redding brings art to DC!

    WASHINGTON, May 13, 2004, 6 p.m. - Nationally syndicated radio personality and Editor & Publisher of will participate in a group art show called the "ArtRomp" at the Warehouse in northwest.

    The show, which features District artists, will begin on May 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. and conclude on June 15.

    Redding developed a new style that he calls Smear Painting ( or in 1999.
    Redding, who says he was heavily influenced by the work of abstract splash painter Jackson Pollock, when he began painting at age 12, recently showcased 12 works in a solo show in Atlanta in February.
    Redding's news program "The News Review" is syndicated in seven stations across the country, including Memphis and Springfield Massachusetts.

    He also runs, an online breaking news Web site, which sends an average of 30,000 people across the web daily.
