There are three black artist who deserve attention from New York’s art world.
Danna Robinson, LaTonia Allen and Ferguson Amo are doing inspiring art. And they were all apart of School of Visual Arts’ “MFA Open Studios”
Robinson is doing sensational smearing of figurative portraits, which is a lot more difficult than one may think.

In addition, Allen picks up where Charles White left off.
Finally, Amo is re-visioning the way people see Africa.
